Widgets lost ..
-
I logged on to my blog this morning and was shocked to see the disappearance of all my sidebar widgets. I activated the new theme ‘Motion’ yesterday and the widgets showed right after the activation but now my sidebar is empty. I am really sad to see this happening coz I’ve accumulated all those widgets from different external links. Could they be restored? Tell me please!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

When you switch from a theme to a similarly designed one, the widgets remain in place; otherwise they move to “Inactive” and you must drag them back to “Sidebar”. Check and see if that’s the case, and tell us; if not, your widgets can probably be restored another way.
(But computer rule no.1 is backup: you should keep a copy of the stuff you “accumulate”.)

The reason of my wonder and heartbreak is that they were all intact yesterday and appeared fine. Now, I’ve reactivated those of the wordpress but am clueless as to where the others went.
Could you tell me the other way?
And yes, thanks for replying :)

The other way is searching for your blog in Google and finding a cached version of it – such as this one:
You can open this page, select “view source” in your browser, and copy the codes or URLs you had pasted in text widgets etc.

This happened to me too, I activated Motion yesterday and set up all my widgets. Today my widgets were gone and the theme seemed to have default back to standard.
I found them in Inactive widgets section, and I’ve set them up again. Is this a bug in Motion?
