  Hello. I want the address to be atljordans.com . If you can help me that would be greatly appreciated. Also above it says the coming soon URL is atljordans.wordpress.com. I do not want it to be that. Is there any way I can change it from http://gator4179.temp.domains/~atljoans or atljordans.wordpress.com just to atljordans.com?

  Just to check, have you built a site with Hostgator? The reason why I ask is because, if yes, this would be a separate entity to https://atljordans.wordpress.com.

  To use a custom a domain with WordPress.com, you can map it as per these instructions: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

  Please note, in order to set a custom domain, the site would need to be on a paid plan, at a minimum, the personal plan.
