what time span does “top posts” represent?

  • On the Dashboard where it lists “top posts” next to the stats graph: If it says 800 views, for example, does that mean that post was viewed 800 times today? or over a week? I ask because for the first top post listed it says 807 views while on the stats graph it says I only have 134 views today so far.
    Thanks for any responses.

  • I beleive the 800 counts towards when you first posted that post
to now so my answer would that is the total of hony times that post
has been viewed since you posted it (Not for Just one day)

  • oops sorry about that I was typing to fast here is what I’m trying to say

I believe the 800 counts towards when you first posted that post
to now so my answer would be that it is the total number of how many
times that post has been viewed since you posted it (Not for Just one day)
as time goes on the numbers will go up….

  • I think top posts is for a week. Cuz when I click on posts and then click to view stats for a week, it closely matches the numbers in top posts. If you click on posts again, and then view for all time, that’s the total count for the history of each post.

  • I clicked on “top posts & pages” on the blogstats page and the 807 matched exactly with the number “for all time” (and “most active” on the dashboard matches exactly the views shown for that post for the last 7 days.)
Thanks guys for helping me figure this out :)
