What is wrong with WP lately? You can’t embed noting but photos. Will that get limited too?

Ok, I understand that WP needs to comply with market monopoles, onslaught of plugins and WP editors, themes and so on. But why eliminate the ability to embed Instagram feeds or Twitter feeds of various feeds into WP posts? I know, WP will say, ‘Oh that is between you and the author of the posts’ No, it is not, posts are public on an Instagram page or Twitter page and so on and nothing changed in that realm but now people can’t embed social media posts into their posts? I understand that content creators feel shortchanged and all that but what is up with WP? And what is up with this new WP post title SEO nonsense? You have to type in a four line title to satisfy that WP seo too. I don’t know …

Well, the URL won’t help you any. The whole world is experiencing this issue. You Tube is full of videos about broken instagram links and embed links in WP. What has changed and will it be fixed ?
-
Well, the URL won’t help you any
No, It’s very helpful.
There are lot of wrong threads about WordPress.org (sites hosted by a hosting provider):
https://wordpress.com/forums/topic-tag/org/In these forums we only support sites hosted on WordPress.com servers. For this reason it is important to know the URL of your site, to know if it is hosted here or on any hosting.

No my site is not hosted by WP. I am using WP only and all embed links are broken, I see a ton of pleas for help by other WP users as well in these forums. Not only are the old imbedded links broken, new ones can’t be inserted unless you insert HTML code. I understand that WP is somewhat losing grip on those embed features because plugin manufacturers want profit, content creators want to monetize the content and so on but what is the solution from WP’s stand point ?

No my site is not hosted by WP
Ok, your site is not hosted here, on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider.
For general help with the version of WordPress you’re using, you can ask the WordPress.org community over at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
You can read more about the differences between WordPress.org software and WordPress.com here:

Hello, I’m sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your website. However, your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with Siteground.
If you needed additional proof, check at the bottom of your Dashboard at https://www.meatlesspatties.com/wp-admin/ where you’ll see “Thank you for creating with WordPress” which links to https://wordpress.org/
Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers. You can find more information here about the differences between WordPress.org software and WordPress.com: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/
https://wordpress.org/support/ is a great resource for sites using the open source WordPress.org software, and you can find support for that at: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
Your hosting provider’s support team may also be able to assist.

@desperatedino macmanx, who is a member of the staff, has told you exactly the same thing that I told you (three times).
Goodbye.
