what is the Initial setup size/space of wordpress hosted blog

Hi, anyone know what is the Initial setup size/space of a wordpress hosted blog. How much space do you have on their servers to upload content? Do they give you something like 500megs and then you need to upgrade when you run out of space?

Please paste the URL of your blog when asking questions here, or link your username to your blog (as explained in the Sticky 8 Things to Know Before Posting). We can’t helpwithout that.

If you are referring to wordpress.com hosted blogs, they are given 3 GB of upload space for free with the ability to increase that at a marginal cost.

If you mean a blog/domain hosted elsewhere then you get what you pay for.
There are hosts which will offer you limited space for $30/year and others who have no limits for around $10/month. -
whether u mean WP offers 3GB space for free blogs?
somewhere else i read it’s 50meg and after that we have to purchase the space.
please clarify is it for file( image/media) uploading or posting?

You can upload certain kinds of files for free, up to a total of 3GB. To upload audio and video directly to WordPress.com, however, you need paid upgrades.

You’re welcome. You can upload 3GB of images to EACH blog, and you can have as many as you like.
