What is the difference between “Support” and “Questions” forums?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
Support is:
I am having difficulty getting my Thingummy working. WordPress seems to delete the code/bust my sidebar/not show my images.
Questions is:
Wouldn’t it be great if we had a widget that could show how much you loved the Jonas Brothers at any point in time? Why don’t we have that? Would staff consider it?
-
So then, what is the diff between questions and ideas?
I just asked a question, but it might should have been support. -
What is the difference between questions and ideas? That’s a good question.
Ideas would be: We should totally have a Jonas Brothers Luv Widget. It would float in space and revolve and wear a tie and save itself for marriage.
Questions would be: why don’t we have that yet, and why does the category Jonas Brothers Luv on my blog post link to the global page for that?
But there’s always been some confusion about the questions forum. I would say I see it as a place to ask general “why does WP work this way” questions, but actually I see it as a nuisance that doesn’t serve any particular purpose except to offer a spot to misplace Support questions.

If we had that widget, I would leave wordpress.com. Immediately.
Just sayin’.
