What Happens When You Reach Your Upload Limit?
-
This is concerning my review site and posting photos, posters, etc. I happened to notice this last night: “You are currently using 2.1 GB out of 3.0 GB upload limit (71%).” Does this mean I have to start a new blog when I reach my limit?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can upgrade to a paid plan. See https://wordpress.com/plans and the storage space guide at https://en.support.wordpress.com/space-upgrade/ page.

Yeah, that was in the back of my mind. Don’t have the funds for that, if it’s something along the lines of a monthly bill. Well, I’ll just add a “Page 2” (aka a new blog) to my Reviews page when I reach the limit.

Hi shawnfrancis,
You can’t get more space without upgrading, but you can conserve some by hosting files on another site and linking to the images, rather than uploading them to your site. (You can also see if you have any media files that you are not using on any Posts or Pages and delete them, if that’s an option for you.)

I do that from time-to-time, delete unused photos. I plan to just create a second review blog and link it to the first as a “page 2.” That works for me at the moment.
