Welcome box on Home page

    Hi,

    I’m using twenty-ten and would like to put some text in a welcome box under the header/menu on the Home page with blog posts flowing as usual underneath. Like two columns – one on top of each other, with a static welcome box on top. But don’t want the welcome box to appear on other pages.

    But I can’t find a way to edit the Home page, only to show what’s on other pages.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    You might try a sticky Post: http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-visibility/

    I have also used a Text Widget to put a “Welcome to my site” link at the top of the sidebar, the link goes to a Post that has been around for a while but one that I don’t want plugging up the top of my Posts.
