Weird autogenerated username — can I change it?
-
G’day everyone
Today I tried to create a new user, only to discover that someone with my e-mail address had already registered. I guess it must have been me, some time ago. Anyway, WordPress seemed to have allocated an autogenerated username to me. My username is… g2-2e5ade569726c018a4b7032d1a44b335. WordPress addresses me by this username, too. For example, when I try to create a blog, the page says “Welcome back, g2-2e5ade569726c018a4b7032d1a44b335,” etc. I can change my nickname (and my display name, thank goodness) but I seem to be stuck with this weird username. Any ideas?
