  Last night I created a wordpress site, that appears to exist, londonbeckettseminar.wordpress.com, but when I login (as ‘marcfarrant’) wordpress tells me I have no sites. Why is my account disassociated from the webpage I’ve made? thanks.

  You created that site using a different email. If you can access that other email account you should find your login/blog details.
