Joomla software and WordPress software are completely different.

Unfortunately, there isn’t an easy way to achieve this since the resources I found requires a special plugin that isn’t available on WordPress.com. You might have better luck moving to a WordPress.org blog instead.
A WordPress.org blog allows you to upload your own custom plugins and themes, and gives you full control over your site’s code.
WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate. If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

Your site looks fairly basic with maybe a dozen pages – you could probably hand copy the text over and fix the text formatting in a few hours at most – – then add choosing a theme and some sort of picture
If you do move to a WordPress anything (.ORG or .COM) make some Posts on the events your group is doing so people can see what you have been active doing – Posts also search better and help search engines think your site is active
