  I am trying to put a youtube video into the sidebar video widget and it keeps telling me:

  Sorry, we can’t load the video at the supplied URL. Please check that the URL is for a supported video file (.mp4, .m4v, .webm, .ogv, .flv) or stream (e.g. YouTube and Vimeo).

  I have tried three different themes and multiple links, all the same failure.

  Hi there,

  This is a bug with the widget.

  For now, please use a text widget instead. If you paste the URL on its own line in that widget, the video should embed correctly.
