upgrading from free version

    I’ve run out of storage with my free version of my wordpress blog. If I upgrade, can I keep the same domain name/ url? Or do I need to choose a new one?

    Hi there, while you do have the option of registering a new Custom Domain with your Personal or Premium upgrade (included at no extra charge for the first year), you do not need to do so. You can remain with the same yoursite.wordpress.com site URL as you have now.

    In order to make full advantage of the extra storage space with your upgrade, make it last longer and make images load faster for your site visitors, you’ll want to consider optimizing your images before you upload them to your site.
