  I linked a google calendar ICAL address to my Upcoming Events widget. It displays all but the current days events. This is inconvenient for users trying to locate an event time for the current day.

  Further info-
  The events are displaying the correct dates and times. Today’s evening event showed properly last night, but was not showing as of this morning. I checked time zones, and it doesn’t appear to be an issue with time zone settings. Any ideas would be of great help. Thanks!

  I found a fix, albeit not a great one. Previously, the linked google calendar was setup using recurring events. I created a new calendar with individual events for each day and this appears to display correctly in the upcoming events widget and not drop the current day’s events. It is a PITA work around, but it does seem to work now.
