Unable to upload wmv video

In the past I have used wmv video format with my blog, and I just checked to make sure that it is supported by WordPress. I am unable to upload any wmv videos to my site, however. If not wmv, what format do videos need to be?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

What would be an acceptable format? WMV is supposed to work. I don’t want to have to keep changing it and using trial and error to figure out what works.

if you want to upload videos to your site you will need to purchase the $99.-/yr upgrade to get the Video Press upgrade. Or you can put your videos on youtube or Vimeo and embed the video in your blog here for no cost
