Unable to access or upgrrade hosting/admin settings due to site error
-
Hello,
There’s a problem with our site that means it’s giving an error:
Composer detected issues in your platform: Your Composer dependencies require a PHP version “>= 8.0.0”.
This error means that the admin interface isn’t working, nor can we get in to change any of the settings as it gives a connection warning.
I think it could possibly/probably be fixed by disabling some plugins but that would need sftp access or similar. We can’t upgrade to a plan that allows for that because trying to go into the config at: https://wordpress.com/hosting-config
Just gives us an error “Please check your primary site’s Jetpack connection”
I’d like to move it to a staging area but seem to be stuck in a loop where I can’t get access to the bits I need to fix it, and I can’t upgrade to get access because that seems to rely on the site working.
Thoughts and suggestions please? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m having the same issue, I noticed it yesterday. I’m going to keep digging and if I find anything I’ll update here.
