Twitter Cards have stopped working for my WordPress.com site

    1. Yes. If a post has a Featured Image set, we’ll use that with a Summary-Large Image instead of a Photo card. Frankly, I’m not sure how/if possible to set the featured image via the REST API, though, without digging in more.
    2. We’ll choose the card that makes the most sense based on the number of images uploaded to post without regard to the “post format” selected. Assuming no featured image, one single image will produce a photo card, 2-3 will produce a summary card, 4+ will produce a gallery card.
It validates as a gallery: https://cloudup.com/cQbKCaK1vC2

Looking at the tweet again after running the URL through the validator, I think if you validate a URL, it may clear the cache out early, but I haven’t ran across that explicitly stated in Twitter’s documentation.

    Cheers!

  • Okay that’s great. Thanks again for your efforts.

    Best regards
