  All of my posts are showing up on my latest post page when I only want the main category of posts to appear. I have another page for Poetry where I plan to show the poetry category. Is there anyway to separate the categories displayed

  Hi,

  Have you chosen the desired category in the block settings, as described and illustrated in the Sorting and Filtering section of the Latest Posts Block support page?

  You might also consider using category archive pages.
