Transfer my domain from wordpress.com to .org

Hello, i bought a domain on wordpress.com maptrotterslife.com but i want to transfer or change it to a website from wordpress.org and when i try to change it, says i can’t do it within 60 days of registration is there a faster way to do it?

Hi there,
It is only possible to transfer a domain 60 days after the registration date. This 60 day lock is required by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) and cannot be waived. More info here.

Hi there,
As @iamrishaan correctly pointed out you can only transfer a domain 60 days after its registration date.
You can, however, leave your domain registered with WordPress.com and point it to another host by changing its name servers. You’ll keep the domain upgrade you purchased with us, and just stop using our hosting.
To change the nameservers to the ones of your new hosting provider please follow these instructions:
