Trackbacks
-
I do not see trackbacks listed on my new WordPress blog in the first article I published. At the top, under the title is the comment option, but no trackback option for readers.

If you scroll down on your write page beneath the “upload” box you will see “Optional excerpts” and just under that “Trackbacks”. Click on the + (plus) sign and enter the trackbacks with spaces in between each one entered.

Timethief, that is for ‘sending’ trackbacks. I’m asking where the trackback URL is for readers to see and use to send me a trackback from their site.

Click on the title to any one of your blog posts and you will see the trackbrack url to the article in question.

The theme you use ‘Cutline’ doesn’t show a trackback link, so you can either switch to another theme which show the trackback link.
Or if you don’t want to do that, you can add the trackback link manually into your post – the url will be {posturl}/trackback/

I got into this one late. Sorry.
Please also note that WordPress will take a trackback pointed at the article itself. You don’t have to have it assigned to a special URL.
At least that’s what I think you’re asking. :)
