Topic, Category, Title, Name of blog?

    Which is which? I need to know how to designate the topic for my blog. Right now I’ve been placed in “uncategorized.” Does that refer to the topic for the blog? What does it refer to? Where can I type in the TOPIC? I think I’ll only have one comment category, if that Is what “uncategorized” refers to.

    You do not designate a topic for your blog at WordPress.com. You do so per post, not once for the entire blog. You do it by adding whatever tags and categories you feel are appropriate for the particular post. You can see how it works on any of the blogs of the forum volunteers. Tags and categories at WP.com are basically the same, but I like categories better because the categories widget shows an unlimited number, while the tag cloud only shows about 45 tags, no matter how many you have.
