I just wanted to say thank you for making it free to modify the CSS.
Makes WordPress.com so much better and when I wake up I know I’ll be doing just that :D

When I entered this url into my browser http://dsynk.wordpress.com I saw that the blog had been deleted. Do you have a wordpress.com blog?

IF so then sulz and the sacredpath have given you the correct information. The css customization upgrade costs $15 per blog per year. If the upgrade is not renewed at the end of the year then the theme reverts to the appearance it originally had.

Yeah I saw it, but I think it’s too dark for me – and orange (!?!). I tested it, but I think it’s even more hard on the eyes than the one I got now. Either way, it looks like there’s no way getting around the upgrade. Some themes that seem good color-wise are too narrow or too wide, other’s have a good layout but bad colors… *sigh* :-)
