    I have been editing for ages using Kadence theme. My sites have today all been covered by a black color. What has happened? And how do I fix it?

    Hi there, did you get this sorted already? I visited your site linked above but not seeing the black overlay.

    If you have trouble like this with Kadence or any other third-party theme in the future, the steps I’d generally recommend are:

    • See if the theme has an update available and update it
    • If it’s a theme in the WordPress.org repository, check the theme’s support forum to see if there are similar issues reported. In the case of Kadence, that would be at https://wordpress.org/support/theme/kadence/
    • If the issue hasn’t already been reported to the developers, you can post in the support forum to let them know. You’ll need a free WordPress.org account to post – if you don’t already have one, you can register here: https://login.wordpress.org/register
