Sub Menu only on some pages
-
Is there a way I can create a second menu that’s only visible on some pages?
I am building a family website so will have a single page that’s public and then one for members that’s password protected.
On this “Members” page it would be nice to have another menu that lets users navigate to additional pages. This second menu shouldn’t be visible on the home page.
Thoughts?
Currently using the free wordpress theme but will be upgrading to the personal one soon.

Hi,
There’s a great tutorial on how to Build a Membership Website including how to create a members-only area where users have to signup and login to access the content. You can watch it here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/tutorials/build-a-membership-website-tutorial/
Hope this helps :)

Unfortunately I am not interested in forcing people to have user id’s and logins. That all too complicated. I just want a single simple password to display a page

In the page editor, click on the Status module in the sidebar to view the page’s Visibility settings. You can set the visibility to public, private, or password protected.
