Stopping Posts From Showing In That Black Index Area

    My theme is Twenty Ten, and you see the black index under the DVD NEWS FLASH title, is there anyway to prevent the pages I create from showing up in that area? I’m going to be adding reviews soon and that index area is gonna get mighty big over time. I’d rather not have that happen.

    You can create a custom menu and add only the items you want to display in it to it. http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/ When you do that you can disable this setting > Appearance > Menus
    bottom right hand corner
    Menu Settings
    Auto add pages
    __ Automatically add new top-level pages to this menu
