Some PNG images messed up

Hi. Some of my PNG images are showing up as black blocks. E.g.

If you scroll down the page, some of the PNG images are clearly messed up, but if you click on them, they display correctly.
For example, this is messed up:
But this is fine:
I can change the HTML code directly in all problematic articles, but it’d be a pain. Weird thing is, when I created that article last year, everything was fine.
Any one with similar experiences? Thanks.

I’m seeing the image correctly, in both browsers I use. But the problem probably has to do with the fact that it’s a bitmap image. Better turn your images to RGB, even when the actual content is black&white only. See bottom of this Support doc:

Yes, in fact one of them made me think it wasn’t working till I found out it was called “blue lin”. They all work for me in FF.

Thanks. Curiously, the images work on FF and Opera but fail on Chrome and IE. I wonder why. :/

I decided to replace all the PNG images with RGB format. Seems to be the only way for now since I can’t tell if it’s the browser’s problem or wordpress’s.
