Some blog posts not fitting the theme
-
Hi! I can’t seem to be able to fix this. I am using the Confit theme – which shows blog posts on a light column. In my cases, this only happens for the first 4 posts. The others appear shifted to the left (so part of the post falls behind the Menu column) and with no light background – so the text becomes unreadable due to the image in the background.
Any hint?
ThanksThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there, is there any chance that you are using a word processor like MS Word to write your posts and then copy/paste it into the Post Editor? What you describe is very common when there is an unclosed HTML tag like DIV See here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/html-troubleshooting/
This post looks like it might have the error https://happinesshasitsownway.wordpress.com/2015/08/25/la-cosa-piu-bella-di-ogni-fine-e-linizio-dopo-la-fine/
If you want to use a word processor, then you’ll also want to learn how you can cleanly use copy/paste. More about that here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/microsoft-word/
Another setting you’ll want to enable on your site is to have WordPressdotcom correct any invalid XHMTL on your site. You can learn more about that here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/writing-settings/2/#writing-settings
Let us know if you need more help with that or have other questions.

Hi there – Jennifer is exactly right. Go into this post: https://happinesshasitsownway.wordpress.com/2015/08/25/la-cosa-piu-bella-di-ogni-fine-e-linizio-dopo-la-fine/
Switch to HTML view, and remove all these tags:
<div> </div>
That should solve the issue for now, and using the “paste from Word” button going forward should prevent the issue in the future.
Let us know how it goes.
