Sobe: where are the categories within posts ???

Add topic to favorites
I’m currently running this theme on two blogs, and on neither can I find a sign of a category as part of any post …

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Categories are not inherently found within posts. You may assign categories to posts as described in the Categories support page.

I MEAN … that each post’s category does not show up.

I don’t know. Perhaps the Sobe theme does not display categories. I was unable to find a single category on the Sobe demo, though tags are plentiful.

If that’s the case you may still use categories in various ways, to display category archives pages, for example, or as a principle links in a custom menu.

Some themes don’t output categories to keep the look and feel cleaner, and Sobe is one of those.

I see that you’ve added categories to your custom menu, and another option is to use the Category Cloud widget.
