Slideshow and individual photos

    How can I include a single photo and a separate slideshow in one post without having the single photo appear in the slideshow? I’ve uploaded the images and inserted them where I want them in the post, but can’t get the single photo out of the slideshow as well.     The WP slideshow displays all the images “attached” to the post, that is, uploaded via the Add an Image tool of that post. So the extra image must not be uploaded that way. One of the ways to do it is upload the image via Media > Add New, then insert it via the Add an Image tool of the post (selecting Media Library instead of From Computer).
