Slider not loading on Twenty Fourteen theme
-
For a few days (maybe longer because I haven’t been at the site often) my slider is not loading on either Firefox or Safari on my computer or my iPad. When I go to Customize to see if the slider is chosen, then the slider shows up, but not when I go to the actual site.
It just keeps churning.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Something is preventing your page from loading fully in certain browsers, which prevents the slider from loading. We’ve been investigating this but haven’t found the culprit yet. We’ll keep you posted here.

Looks like your slider is appearing for us now in Firefox and Safari. We suspect some sort of network issue – could you please let me know if you’re able to see the slider now?

It’s still not working for me. I cleared my recent browser history, but that didn’t help. It looks like it might be cookies for Twitter that it hangs up on, according to the loading info at the bottom of the browser. I can’t tell what it is on Safari.

Based on our earlier testing, it didn’t look like Twitter was the culprit, but as a test, you could try temporarily removing your Twitter widget, by dragging it into the Inactive Widgets here and then refreshing your page.

I found this forum on the twitter issue: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/cdnapi-twitter-share-this?replies=11
I did what one suggested and removed Twitter from the sharing options (and put the widget back) and now it loads. Hmm.

Interesting. It’s possible Twitter was/is having network issues. Glad you’re seeing the slider now!
