Sketch theme: Where is the portfolio option?
-
I chose Sketch because it’s a portfolio theme. However, having searched the forums and read the support article, darned if I can find ANYwhere to enable portfolios either site-wide or for just the home page.
Settings → Writing → Content Types — nothing there about portfolios, and there is no Portfolio menu item in the sidebar.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

No, the site I need help with is http://www.paulhavemann.com/
I cannot find any “edit” link in my original post.

Hi there – on a self-hosted site with the WordPress software running on your own hosting – like yours – you’ll need to activate the Jetpack plugin to use the portfolio functionality. Once the plugin is active, go into the Jetpack settings page and on the Writing screen, make sure portfolios are toggled on under “Custom content types.”
After you’ve done that, you can follow the guide here to set up your site:

Some screenshots/references may be a bit different, since the guide is geared to WordPress.com sites, but if you need further help with anything, feel free to post in the Sketch forum over at WordPress.org:

You’ll need a free WordPress.org account to post – if you don’t already have one, you can register here:

Be sure to provide a link to your site when you post so people can help you more easily.
