  I link to much content on my blog as well as to other people. Consequently I get pingbacks from myself to myself all the time.

  An example is this post where there are lots of pingbacks at the end of the article which show as comments.

  1. How can I turn off these pingback comments
  2. How can I stop email notification of pingbacks to myself from myself
  3. I STILL WANT TO KEEP PINGBACKS FROM OTHER PEOPLE APPEARING AND BEING NOTIFIED OF THEM BY EMAIL

  thank you for that.
  I was looking for a global setting but I guess there is not one.
  I’ll try to remember to do this for each post but in reality people will forget.

  yes me too.

  it would be good to combine this sort of feature then with the ability to NOT have to change historic intra-site links if a blog is migrated
