Searching comments doesn’t work
-
Suddenly the search function for reader’s comments doesn’t work anymore. Whatever I use as input for the search field, the result is the same. It always shows all comments, even if I insert text strings which weren’t ever used, like !”§$%&/()=?*#. Or is there now a different way to do it?

I noticed this as well. I was trying to search and everything was coming up so I put in something I knew wasn’t in any comment (some nonsense thing) and again, they all came up.

I am having the same problem.
I guess that we have to wait until Monday morning :-)
Until that, I search in the full lists with the date and hour of the targeted comment. -
Same problem here for the past several days. Is somebody at WordPress working to fix this?

The search function worked initially after the new dashboard went live. Something went wrong since then.

This is an important feature that I used to be able to make good use of, it needs to be sorted out with some haste. I need at the least to be able to search by name, IP address, email address and content string please.

I don’t mean to be annoying but can we get a response as to whether this problem will be fixed?

Yes, I need this as well to grade a journal assignment for my students. Is anyone from WordPress monitoring this? Any idea when this will be fixed? Thanks.
