Search widget missing

Add topic to favorites
For some reasons I cannot add a search widget to my sidebar. Here’s what I did:

1) I added the search widget;
2) I went to my home page. The search widget doesn’t show up;
3) I checked the page where you edit widget. The search widget is gone too, as if I’ve never added it.

Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks!

I’ve had instances where widgets have to be added several times before they actually take and appear in the sidebar. Try adding the widget again and see what happens. Before leaving the widget page, refresh that page and make sure the widget is showing in the sidebar. If after trying a couple times it does not show, then contact staff directly at http://en.support.wordpres.COM/contact/ .

Never thought of that. It works now, after I refreshed the widget page. Thanks a lot!
