Sandbox footer
-
Hi,
I got another problem. I really need help with this.
My footer never stick to the bottom of the page. It goes where my sidebar ends. So when the post is longer than the sidebar, the footer would stand in the middle of my posts.
I’ve been trying to settle this problem for days, but I failed. So I decided to hide the footer, but I feel guilty.
Is there anyone to help me with this? Your help is much appreciated.

Here goes the footer:
#footer { background:rgb(242,226,179); display:none; position:relative; }
and my blog is http://ojrak.wordpress.com.
I hope it helps you to help me. Thanx.

I don’t see a footer at all. Presumably this is because you’ve hidden it.
What happens if you just remove the code and let the basic theme position the footer? I wouldn’t have thought you’d need to reposition it at all.

I have tried it 2 days ago, removed the codes, and the links to WordPress.com and plaintxt.org stood in the middle of my posts.
I have also tried `display:block;
position:absolute;
clear:both`
but it only pulled the footer higher, right below the header. -

Nothing works. Frustrated. I’ll redo the whole thing. Right from the start.
Thanx for all your kindness.

Now look at my blog… (the one my name links to)
I didn’t do anything with its css since I don’t know when (except taking out the lines that ruled how text widgets should behave), and I think it was fine last night.
Last night I was fiddling with my other blog’s css. Do they connected with each other? I think not.
Just half an hour ago I viewed Ojrak blog and saw that the footer was right under the header.
Anybody knows what’s wrong?

I’m making huge changes right now. I can’t be on messy space for too long. Ugly is fine, but not messy.

I pasted codes from http://www.chromagica.com to http://ojrak.wordpress.com
The result was similar — footer hanging right below header. While on chromagica, the codes work just fine. -
I’ll just leave Ojrak unstyled. I think the site has something like… ‘deviant behavior’ (if it were a person). Well, maybe it’s just trying to clearly reflect its owner’s disorders. Heheheheh…
