Reverting to Retired Theme
-
I activated a new theme by mistake on my wordpress, and I want to revert back to my old theme (which is retired now). Any ideas on how to do this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi aqayyum87
I am tagging this post as ‘modlook’ for staff assistance. Please wait for some time they will get back to you on this.

Hi there, not Staff, but looking at Google’s cache of your site from November 10 it looks like you were using Pilcrow.
If you want to reactivate that retired theme, you’ll need to do so from your WP Admin Dashboard>Appearance>Themes https://southasiaworkshop.wordpress.com/wp-admin/themes.php?search=pilcrow
Having said that, you might want to consider that retired themes are no longer updated for bug fixes and to use WordPressdotcom’s newer features. Let us know if you would like suggestions for a newer theme. https://wordpress.com/themes/

Hi there,
@justjennifer is right. The theme you originally used was Pilcrow which is now retired. However, you can reactivate it by going to the link @justjennifer provided.
