Removing grey area over slider

  Could someone please help me with removing the grey rectangle on top of my slider image (bottom left)? It’s left over from where the beginning of the article would have started (you can see what I mean here: http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/triton-lite/) but I just wanted the title so have used the ‘more…’ function, but the background greying out still remains.

  The theme I’m using is Triton Lite and can use ‘custom design’ ie CSS. Thanks in advance!
