Remove post details (author, category…)

  I want a homepage within WordPress without any of the “blogging” stuff below the post. Is there a way to remove post author, filed under and the comments section?

  That comes with the templates and how they were designed by the designers. You could buy the CSS upgrade and take it all off if you know how, I think.
