  Hey guys,
  I need a major help. When my mouse is hovered over a post on the front page of my blog – a box appears – can we remove that feature? Please help. Thank you.

  Hello @malecelebbootyfest,

  Since your blog has WordPress.com Premium, you can change that behavior by adding a few CSS lines to Customize > CSS:

  These lines will remove the box and the icon:

  .entry-featured-image:hover figcaption {
  	display: none;
  }

  These lines will remove the opacity effect::

  .entry-featured-image:hover a img {
  	opacity: 1.0;
  }
