Refund if you cant fix

I cant access the website I started to make yesterday, it’s still not public as I can see.
I don’t have many emails either, it’s possible that inital emails (or key) was sent to an old email address called cubegasservices which I used for an old wordpress account many years ago but have no access.I bought the domain name, it should have been under icongas, if you can’t recover it then refund my money please. You are simply logged in to the wrong account. icongas6e6d758552 was only created 1 hour ago so it cannot be connected to a site you started yesterday.
As you have a paid plan, it’s very easy to restore access to the account owning that site by using the Transaction ID at https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/#account-recovery-form

Ok, thanks. But I dont have any idea how to gain access to the domain I bought yesterday.
I tried account recovery, it dosent work (i.e the button dosent work) I only have the Trans ID (redacted)

You don’t need access to that old email account; give your current email address. Just click on TransactionID and give the TransactionID as you find it. Next click on ‘Recover my account’. That’s all

The Transaction ID is a 10-digit unique code, so without WordPress, only the 10 digits 6UJ…

6 times I’ve tried different ways. It’s definately not working and its definately the correct transaction ID, Please see screenshot, any ideas?

@icongas6e6d758552 – it’s under a different username entirely. It looks like our Accounts team has already responded, but I also wanted to point out you only bought a domain, without a hosting plan.
In a case like this, the domain will simply redirect to your free WordPress.com address. You’ll need to connect it to a hosting plan, either here or with the company of your choice. The Personal plan would work nicely once you’re logged into the correct account. Let us know what you have in mind and we can suggest next steps.

Also clarifying: the accounts team just needs a new email address. If you can share an email address that is not the one on this account, that will be the fastest route forward.
Or, could also change the address on this account to something else: go to https://wordpress.com/me/account and update it, then look for an email at that address and click on the link to confirm the change. That will free up this address for use on the intended account, so you can give them that.
