Re-instate the mark as spam on referrers to remove spammers
-
The mark as spam functionality on the Referrers tab, used to remove the dodgy referer spammer , can this please be reinstated.
The Semalt spam is becoming unbearable again and my referers are polluted with their crappy *.xyz referrers

Hey there,
The mark as spam hasn’t been removed.
If you hover over the referrer you should see an ! symbol. This is the Mark as spam button. :)

I appreciate the Mark As Spam is still there aand I use it.
However, the functionality I referring to is that what would happen when you click the Mark as Spam, is that it would remove the Domain from you Referrer stats right aweay so It would be there.
It no longer does this and I would like that to be the bahaviour.

Hi there!
As far as I’m aware, that should still be how it works. Could you tell us specifically which referrer you’re trying to mark as spam? We can try it from your account and see what’s happening.
Thanks!

A few semalt based spammers this happens with are:
webuonline.xyz
eximsale.xyz
cerbsale.xyz
wlumlgoods.xyz
commsale.xyz

I think the spam blocker is blocking me adding the url. I am using [dot] to signify .
one sample url is cerbsale[dot]xyz

Thanks for the examples! I had a quick look and these referrers don’t look as if they’re appearing in your referrer list any more, if I understand correctly? They’re definitely showing as blocked referrers, and this does appear to have removed them from your referrers lists – are you still seeing them there?
