Questions before downgrading from paid plan to legacy free site
-
Howdy folks, if someone downgrades from a paid plan to a free plan on a site that was created prior to the end of March 2022, going forward will they:
1. Have 3GB or 1GB of media storage?
2. Be able to purchase Add-Ons?Thanks for your reply.

Hi there @justjennifer,
If you decide to downgrade from a paid plan on a site created before 3/2022, you:
1. Will have 3GB of media storage
2. Will be able to purchase Add-OnsI just tested both of these on my test site created before 3/2022 to confirm and I had both 3GB storage and access to Add-Ons.
Let me know if you have any questions or if you experience anything differently if/when you downgrade.
Thanks!

Hi @staff-doublebassd Just coming back to say that auto-renew has now been turned off on the relevant site and the upgrade will be removed in another month. I’ll let you know then if something needs looking into. Thanks again.

Hi folks, where’s the No Ads add-on gone to?
It’s not showing in my Upgrades/Add-Ons dashboard. (temporary screenshot)

Hello @yarnaholic
I see the site is on the premium plan, whereby No Ads is included into that plan.
I hope that helps.

Hi @aleone89 – The no-ads add-on appeared on that dashboard page until recently.
Since it is included in the Premium plan on that site, it also had the “included in your plan” notation like the CSS and Premium themes Add-on.
Now No Ads doesn’t appear there nor does it appear on any of my free sites.

@staff-zinnia Thanks for the clarification.
Can’t say I’m happy for this change since the No Ads add-on was an affordable option for folks who couldn’t spring for a full plan upgrade.

@justjennifer – Yes, I understand. I’ll pass that feedback along to the team as well. As always, thanks for being here!
