question about wordpress.com web hosting

    I am using wordpress web hosting service for my website. I am moving my web hosting to wordpress.com.
    I am running a website that is applied to subdomains. So I have purchased a wildcard SSL certificate.
    If I move web hosting to wordpress.com, does it support SSL installation for multiple sub domains?
    And I’d like to know if there is a cost for this as well.

    Hello there,

    Happy to help you with this.

    An SSL is supplied free of charge for all domains on WordPress.com for all domains, including sub domains.

    It wouldn’t be possible to use an SSL certificate from a third party. I’d recommend trying to get a refund for that purchase once the transfer of the site is complete.
