  Hi,

  I have a qr code in my book that drives people to my blog. I plan to buy a personal plan with a domain. Once I have the domain, will the printed qr code work?

  A QR-code even works on a free wordpress.com site. Just make sure the QR-code contains the right information.

  Even if you have a custom domain, the free URL stays valid to go to your site.

  Thanks. I really need that the QR code works with the custom domain too, i.e., people who scans the QR code from the book of the wordpress.com free will be redirect to the custom domain.

  Anyone typing a free address into a browser is automatically directed to a custom domain if someone upgrades their site so yes it should work.

  I checked your site, and I see that your custom domain, pauloferro.com, is already set as the primary address. This means your free WordPress.com address, blogenigmath.wordpress.com, will automatically redirect to pauloferro.com.
