putting blog in a category

    I am new here and have posted two blogs which are listed as “uncategorized”.
    How do I get them in a category. I cannot find a category button on my site.

    The blogs themselves don’t get categorized. You categorize posts. When you’re writing or editing a post you’ll see a box on the right for Categories (Tags are the same thing) and you just tick any category you think applies to the post and if you want to add a new one, you type it in the box above the list of categories. All blogs start out with just “Uncategorized” at the beginning and you add what you need.

    I wish folks would do that over at the Site That Must Not Be Named. Like 99% uncategorized over there.
