Publishing post failed

I have red through other posts that askes about the same issue, but I cannot find any answer anywhere. Today, after writing a post, it wouldn’t publish. It just says that “publishing the post failed”. I tried publishing it in internet explorer instead of google chrome, but that failed too, so it had nothing to do with the browser I used. Logging out and logging in again doesnt work eighter.
Does this fix itself after awhile, or are people that gets this messege never able to post anything again? Has anyone figuired out what the issue is?

I was having that issue earlier today, but then discovered that I had another browser tab with the Customizer open.
If you are still having an issue with this, please try logging out and emptying your browser cache and cookies, which will also log you out of any other website you are currently logged in to. Close your browser and then reopen it.

I copied my post into word. Exited out of WordPress. Back in. Pasted it back, and saved. Now I can publish.
