Publication theme not aligned
-
Hello,
I have a problem with the layout of my webpage. http://www.flipout4ms.com
Basically I can see the picture (which is massive) entirely and aligned, but the titles and tags are cut. Therefore the page is not centred and not aligned. Can you explain me how I can sort out this problem?
Cheers,
StefiThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Stefi
As I can see from here, everything is working as expected in your blog.
The Publication Theme is made in a way that the screen is divided in 2 parts, being the left one for content, and the right one for sidebars and widgets.
If you still think there is some sort of error in your blog, can you be more specific when you say
but the titles and tags are cut. Therefore the page is not centred and not aligned.
so we can check it?

Publication theme has main content area to the left and two side bars, Sidebar One and Sidebar Two to the right.
All the widgets on your blog are on Sidebar One. Sidebar Two is empty giving the impression that your page is aligned to left.
You can either move some of the widgets to Sidebar Two or use custom CSS to hide the Sidebar Two and align the page to the center.
Adding custom CSS requires that you have Custom Design upgrade on your account.
Let me know which option do you prefer.

The letters of the titles are cut so in the home page I see:
ltiple sclerosis:
mmon Emotional

To have the Custom CSS means I need to upgrade to Premium? I don’t like having 2 sidebars. I need one! :)

Your account seems to be created prior to 1 September 2014, in which case, you will be able to buy the Custom Design upgrade alone without needing to buy the Premium bundle.
Once you have the upgrade on your account, please post your question to CSS customization forum to get help with custom CSS: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/css-customization

Doesn’t look I can buy the Custom design alone. At least I cant find any link! could you please send me a link where I can buy the CSS only?
Thanks -
Could you check the Store menu within your wp-admin at https://flipout4ms.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php

Ok I bought it but I can`t see any change in the customizer page. I repost the problem in the right forum section

You can send us a snapshot by adding it to your media content from your blog: https://flipout4ms.wordpress.com/wp-admin/upload.php
and then post here the link to this image.I’ve done so, so you can see how the website appears to me here:
and
if you use only one sidebar in this Theme, it will never be centralized, unless you can edit your CSS by purchasing the premium plan.
If more help is needed in order to do so, please reply
hope that helps

Hi I just bought the CSS custom design! Could you please tell me how centred it from there?
Thank you very much :) -
I would like also to resize the main page picture (2000 px is a way too much)! Is it possible do that too? I have no idea how to use CSS!

I have also put some of the widgets in the sidebar 1. Still the title of latest post appear cut. Even using different browsers. I hope you can help. I am still waiting! No-one answers here or in customisation forum page

Hello
I don’t know exactly what is happening with you viewing the titles cut. Here everything is fine, in all browsers and mobile devices.
You have to post here the link to that image you’ve uploaded since I can’t access your library. Simply go to Media, click on the image that you’ve just uploaded and there will be a URL field on the next screen, copy me that.
I’m trying to set up a CSS code for you, but now with 2 sidebars, the page is correctly centered, isn’t it? It’s not that easy to do this code, since this theme reposition the elements depending on the user screen size, so if I set it correctly on a big monitor, things got messed up on mobile, for instance.
If you wish to have only one sidebar, I can try to develop that code, but probably you will get better and faster help posting on CSS Forum (https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/css-customization)

It is exactly the same (not centred). I created this topic in the customisation page and still no-one replied. 1 sidebar would be better if people can see the title of the main page in the centre :) ttps://flipout4ms.files.wordpress.com/2015/07/new-picture.jpg
this is how is see the website! Thanks a lot
