  When I add widgets to the “primary widget area” everything works fine. However, if I add widgets to any other area (i.e. “secondary widget area”, “featured widget area”, etc.) then they do not appear on the blog. Any help resolving is greatly appreciated.

  zBench, the theme you’re using, has a few layout options with different widget areas. From what I can see, it looks like you’re using a lyaout that doesn’t show any additional widget areas, but you can easily change that in Appearance → Theme Options on your dashboard.
