Problem inserting image into page

    Whenever I try to insert an image into my blog’s front page, it doesn’t happen. I upload the image, click on insert (with the cursor in the right place on the page), and the image insert page flicks to blank. The image then sometimes appears on the draft page, but if I click update, it disappears. On this page I already have 30 thumbnail images (successfully inserted in the usual way), and thought that perhaps there was a limit, but I’ve tried deleting one to replace with the new one, and that didn’t work either – and now I can’t put it back.

    I’m in visual editor, white as milk theme, and this happens whether I upload/insert from computer or from media library. It’s been going on for over a week now and I wonder if anyone else is having the same problem, or knows what I should do?
