Problem deleting multiple categories

    So here’s what happened, I imported one of my blogger blogs and when it was importing the posts it brought along the post labels and made them categories. Well, a bunch of these were unnecessary so I wanted to delete them.

    I clicked on the categories deal, then clicked the box to select all and then went through and unchecked the boxes next to each of the categories I wanted to save from being deleted, leaving only those I wanted gone still checked.

    I pressed the delete button and got a page that says:

    “Request URI is too long”.

    I hit back and tried again, same thing, I refreshed…same thing.

    Any help?
